Monday 25th February 2013 – 7.30pm – ImproFestUK – The Opening Ceremony!


Its the first show of Impro Fest 2013 so we have special opening event featuring a mix of performers from shows across the festival as well as some bonus preview improvisations. Guests include member of The Improsarios, Sprout, Music Box, Upstairs Downton and more. Expect some surprises and plenty of fun! This show is approx 1 hour 50 with an interval.




Tuesday 26th February 2013 - 7.30pm – The Rubiks


Nine performers (six women and three men) mean the comedy will be coming fast and furious through games and scenes ending in a tangled narrative web! This accomplished band of actors have more bite than an angry ferret. Come and see these new kids on the block create uniquely weird and wonderful characters every single show!




Tuesday 26th February 2013 - 9pm –Sketchy Behaviour


Music and monologues add something different to the inspired scenes and games from this new impro group composed of actors singers, dancers and musicians from West London. Let your suggestions create an Oscar winning speech, hilarious sketch, pop song, or tear-jerking ballad.

Do Not Adjust Your Stage is an improvised comedy troupe based in London. We create fun, fast-paced, story-based improvised comedy shows, often inspired by television.

Do Not Adjust Your Stage have been performing together for two years, with shows regularly across London, at two successive Edinburgh Fringes, and at comedy festivals in Manchester and Sheffield. We are delighted to be performing again at ImproFestUK.

Thursday 28th February 2013 - 9pm - non de script


Working without a script, and making everything up on the spot, non de script aim to provide you with an evening of laughter and fun. This is done through a mixture of physical comedy, word-play, and audience participation where you, as the audience, become one of the stars of the show. We employ a range of familiar games (from Whose Line Is It Anyway? and other improv shows), to games that are original to non de script! We don't know what will happen, but we do know you will have an unforgettable evening!!

Friday 1st March 2013 - 7.30pm – Ludus Ludius : “Cagematch”


Ludus Ludius (Cardiff, Wales) vs Duty Free (Dublin, Ireland).

Cagematch! It's riotously dangerous improv comedy when two mighty teams of warriors take to the stage to prove who is better! A no-holds-barred competition. Anything is possible. Each with their 20 minutes to dazzle and flex their muscles. The audience votes on the winner via secret ballot. The winner stays on and firmly grips their position as Cagematch Champions until a Herculean squad of funnies takes umbrage. Valiant in their humour and wit, the champions will reign King or Queen for their audience.

Got a favourite movie? Come see Foghorn Improv shamelessly plagiarise the plot – we’ll improv recycle your favourite film scenes creating tall tales to order. Want Thelma and Louise in an old people’s home? Star Wars in a local council office? You, the audience are the producers and talent scouts and we, Foghorn Improv and our merry band of improvisers, the poor actors in this show of improvised movie mayhem.

Since 2017AD the ProjectTwo facility has been in orbit around Solaris, gathering data about every sentient life through voluntary information on social networking websites. Three thousand years later the ProjectTwo technicians have access to these archives and replay them to visitors. Welcome space-traveller. Which archive do you wish to view?

Have your ideas turned into a full-length play by the skilled improvisers of Sprout. 3 different openings to three different plays are created based on audience suggestions – these are then whittled down to one that the audience vote to see completed. And every night is a premiere - because every night it’s a totally new play. Come along - it could be your play!

“Neil +1” is a unique improv show starring Neil Curran and a random audience member! Completely unplanned and improvised, an audience member is invited up on stage and becomes part of the show!

Neil has performed and taught improvisation for many years, having performed with Laughalot Improv; The Make-Up Artists; JC & The Apostles Of Improv and recently, Duty Free. (Who are also performing at Impro Fest UK.)

Festival performances include Body & Soul Festival and TedFest.

Neil has guest performed with Spontaneous Theatre People and Choke Comedy Improv. Neil is one half of Chicken & Fox Productions.
